Switch WS-C4510R+E rebooting issue

Hi,

 

We have faced the issue with one Access Switch WS-C4510R+E having SUP# WS-X45-SUP7-E and showing the last rebooting reason as below,

 

 

CSS45B4W1.trv uptime is 56 minutes

 

 

We have checked the current IOS of this Switch and found deferred from Cisco.

Also attaching the crashinfo files, show tech-support an dshare us if have some more finding other than IOS part.

I have gone throug the capture shared by you decoded both crashinfo and found below detail


HW: WS-C4510R+E

  • Decoded the both crashinfo and found that both gave the same reason
  • This issue is matching with known Bug CSCtr35883, please see the detail below,
    • The switch crashes with a bad magic number in chunk header.
    • A switch running 15.0(2)SG/3.2.0SG through 15.0(2)SG1/3.2.1S will experience this issue


Suggestion:

  • This bug is fixed in 03.02.02.SG.150-2.SG2 or later
