We are LDAP integrated and there are a few phone service accounts that are getting into the corporate directory that I would like removed. Is there a way with an LDAP integrated phone system a few accounts out of the corporate phone directory. FYI, we are running callmanager 8.6 and unity connection.

You can use an LDAP Filter at CUCM to sync users according to the filters:

Other solution you can leave the field Last Name blank in your LDAP User Database,if a user does not have a last name they will not sync.

With this they will not appear at the Corporative Directory

Note After   you configure LDAP synchronization in Cisco Unified Communications   Manager Administration, users without last names in the corporate   directory do not synchronize with the Cisco Unified Communications   Manager database. No error displays in Cisco Unified Communications   Manager Administration, but the log file indicates which users did not   synchronize.

Well if I create a filter to filter out the names then Unity would never see those names and the mailboxes associated with the accounts would be deleted. I need those accounts in unity, however, I do not want them in the corporate directory. So I don't believe a filter would work.

Unity pull the users from CUCM or from LDAP?

Pulls from what CUCM brings in from LDAP.

Hello take a look on this discussion here.

That is no way to hide account on the corporate directory and maintain the same sync with CUCM.
