Meet me conference configuration

Hi all,

My customer's system includes CUCM and CUC (Cisco Unity Connection).

I have a situation when I configure in my customer's system

- I configure meet me conference number (1111) in CUCM,

- When I set up meet me conference with number 1111 in internal phones, we can conference well

- I set up meet me conference with number 1111 from internal phone. I have 2 attendees from external phones join to meet me conference, the first they need to dial to my company 's phone number and they will hear opening greeting ("Wellcome to ...., pls press 1 to join meet me conference"). In CUC server, we configure direct routing rules to Opening Greeting, and configure when I press 1 (caller input is 1) , the call is tranfer to alternate Contact number 1111 (Meet me number).

But 2 attendees from external phones can not go to meet me conference.

I just configure like that in my labs and it is okie for external phones

Can you help me to troubleshoot this problem!

I'd start by checking codecs and the amount of users you have configured for meet-me

On the Opening Greeting call handler do you have "Allow Transfers to Numbers Not Associated with Users or Call Handlers" checked under standard greeting? Otherwise UCXN can only transfer caller to a user defined on it.

Hi there,

Perhaps you are hitting this bug;

CSCub63364 - AA Supervised Transfer to Meetme fails when invoking local SW CFB

Symptom:

Supervised transfers from UC to Meetme number cause call to be taken back to UC instead of transfer due to using the same RTP port.

Conditions:

Observed in CUCMBE 8.6 and 9.x, but may also be present in previous versions as well.

Workaround:

Use release to switch or use an IOS CFB or MTP resource.
