Hi all,
I wonder if I can daisy chain with two 4x cameras(CTS-PHD-1080P4XS) for C40, TC5.x.
Is it possible to do so only by purchasing daisy chain cable(CAB-VCDC-6.5M=)?
I checked "precisionhd_1080p-720p_camera_user_guide.pdf" but there was no description about 4x cameras for C40.
(I found some descriptions about PrecisionHD 1080p4x there but they must be 4x cameras only for C20)
I guess it is possible because 1080p 12x cameras which can daisy chain, have same physical interface as 1080p 4x cameras for C40.

Hi,
Just want to bring to your notice that old 4X cmaera has same port as 12X camera; however using software RJ45 is block in 4x Camera hence while daisy chain 4x camera will be last camera because only its RJ11 port will work.

Vivek

Hi Kotaro.
4x camera can not be connected as a first camera in daisy chain , It can be only connected to last camera in daisy chain setup .
In your case first cam shoud be 12 x and you can connect 4x as secoend camera.
Visca port is disabled in 4x camera .
Kind regards,
Dharmmesh

Hi Dharmmesh,
Thank you for your prompt reply!
4x cameras for C40(not for C20) have same physical interfaces as 12x cameras, is it correct?
If so, I guess it may be possible...
Does "Visca port is disabled in 4x camera" mean "the visca port is logically/physically disabled on the cameras" or " the cameras do not have visca port " ?

Hi Vivek,
Thank you for your informaion.
We borrowed a daisy chain cable from cisco yesterday.
We will try 12x to 4x camera daisy chain on C40.
