Hi

I have a UC-560 and I want to send automaticaly the CDR for all outgoing call to the FTP server.

i have config the UC560 as follows:

gw-accounting file
primary ftp 192.168.0.107:21/CDR username CDR password <removed>
 acct-template callhistory-detail
 maximum buffer-size  15
 maximum retry-count 3
 maximum fileclose-timer 300
 maximum cdrflush-timer 245
 cdr-format compact

However I am not able to ftp the CDR files to my Call Accounting Server. I got this from my ftp client:

Status:          Connecting to 192.168.0.19:21...

Status:          Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server".

Error:          Could not connect to server

Also I found this in the logs:

Tried to flush the CDR files out of the flash but that is not working. I restarted the UC560 but nothing changes.

Hi,

I know it says connection refused, but im assuming the UC can actually talk to that ftp server?

Also have you verified that the server is accepting incoming requests from the UC?

Another thing to try, is an anonymous account for testing purposes.

Regards

Yasien

Hello,

I looked at your config, and I am not sure of your FTP line:

     gw-accounting file
primary ftp 192.168.0.107:21/CDR username CDR password

The believe the format should be:

     gw-accounting file
primary ftp 192.168.0.107:21/username XXXX password XXXX

You can test the FTP fuctionality by copying a file to your FTP server:
     copy flash:testfile.txt ftp://username:password@192.168.0.107

Also, you cannot "flush" the files from flash, they will need to be deleted, or
manually moved if you would like to keep them.

Thank you,
Darren

I added the backup location as follows:

gw-accounting file
primary ftp 192.168.0.107:21/cdr username CDR password
secondary ifs
acct-template callhistory-detail maximum buffer-size  15 maximum retry-count 3 maximum fileclose-timer 300 maximum cdrflush-timer 245 cdr-format compact

and the log showed this

572          0 Mar 18 2013 21:16:34 -04:00 cdr.Grove_Ochi.03_18_2013_21_16_34.996

The UC560 stop writing the CDR files. How do I get the UC560 to do

copy flash:testfile.txt ftp://username:password@192.168.0.107 ?

Hello,

It sounds like the files are still not getting to the FTP server.  They are going to the secondary location.

Remove:

secondary ifs

This tells the unit to send the files to a secondary location (flash) if the primary (FTP) location is not availalble.

You can test the FTP by flushing the information to send it to the FTP server immediately by using the following command:

file-acct flush with close

To test the FTP, you should enter into CLI and then use the copy command listed.  (replace "testfile.txt" with a file located on the root of flash.)

copy flash:testfile.txt ftp://username:password@192.168.0.107

Thank you,

DArren
