Hi guys,
All my ip phones registered with cucm and I am using H.323. The problem is when I dial a pstn number (10 digits ) the ip phone doesn't ring out at all but when I receive a call from a pstn number it rings fine. Also when I call an internal number 1XXX it rings out but not the pstn number.
Any idea?

Can you send your config..
Make sure you have the ff in bold in your config.
conf t
voice call send-alert
and the progress setup and alert under dialpeer
dial-peer voice 1001 pots
progress_ind setup enable 3
progress_ind alert enable 8

So this is a SIP based PSTN.
Can you do a test call and send the ff debugs
debug ccsip messsages
debug voip ccapi inout
I also observe that there is no inbound dialpeer from cucm to the gateway..
Can you add this
dial-peer voice xxx voip
incoming called-number (put your called pattern here)
dtmf-relay h245 alpha-num
no vad

OK. What is your call flow..Is this correct?
CUCM---h323--CUBE---SIp---PSTN
If thats correct you need to define an inbound dial-peer for calls coming in from cucm to the gateway (thse calls ar then sent tto the PSTN by the gateway)
I noticed that you have sip setup for your outbound dial-peer to your PSTN but there is no inbound dial-peer from CUCM

The ip phone rings out fine when I dial international number 011T. Only the pstn number 10 digits no ring out. Anything else works fine

Can you please send your full config. I can see the call is matching inbound dialpeer 102. But I dont know what you have on that dialpeer...

Hello,
I have cucm10.5 with 2x2921 routers.
When I place an internal call I don't here the ring and i don't now how many times the call is ringing.
Any ideas why my cucm doesn't send the ring to the other terminal???

Hi,
What u are trying to say is that u have a cisco router configured as H.323 GW on which is being used for PSTN and registered to Call Manager.
The problem u are facing is that when u are dialing from IP phone to PSTN number , u do not hear RingBack Tone on your IP phone but the call when picked by PSTN user, u are able to talk.
When PSTN user calls on your IP phone, it works perfectly fine.
Please explain the last line of internal number.

Yes. I have a couple of ip phones registered to cucm( v8.6). When I call the other ip phone internal number 1XXX it rings out. But When I dial a PSTN number number like my cell phone no ring out but I still receive the call from the ip phone.
Also I see the incoming call to my ip phone but I can't hear anything when I answer it and the other end they hear a fast busy signal.
