Hello All
I have a customer that wants to implement time of day routing and wants to annouce a message when the office is closed.
They voice infrastructure consists of CUCM,UnityCx, CUEAC and UCCX.
What are my options to record and play the announcements?
Unitycx does not have spare licenses so can I use a call handler or does that need a license.
As far as I know CUEAC does not provide announcement functionality, please correct me if I am wrong.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Feisal

Hi.
Unity Connection has a default 2 port license so you can manage only 2 concurrent calls to UC.
To achieve you customer needs, I can suggest you to create a ToD routing that forwards all calls to an UCCX script (depends on what kind od uccx license your customer owns) which plays a prompt an than hangs up.
Hope this helps
Regards
Carlo

Hi Feisal,
Just to add a note to the great tips from Carlo (+5)
You could certainly use a Call Handler in Unity Connection
to meet your needs here as well. The Call Handler does not
require any license and offers alot of flexibility in routing, playing
an informational messge, schedules etc. etc
Cheers!
