RTP PROBLEMS (SILENCES, ONE-WAY AUDIO)

Hi!


We have a really big customer who, after the migration of the gateways to SIP and the implementation of IPCC - CVP, are experiencing the following issues:


  • Sometimes, users cannot hear the first seconds of a call (they pickup the phone, silence, and then suddenly they can hear the caller);
  • Sometimes, one way audio (but not always).


Do you know the most common reasons for those problems? Codec is always G.711 and as they occur only from time to time, it is quite complex to reproduce and/or trace the issues.
