Good afternoon everyone.

My previous discussion https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/3943395#3943395  has been resolved perfectly. (thank you to Anthony)    I now have one more question about create Generated prompt.

When the system checks the customer's name, they just want to spell back first 3 letters of their name instead of whole name.  For example, after a customer enter his/her ID number, database checks the associated customer name, then, spell out only first 3 letters of first and last name.   If  "Nancy Smith" is the customer's name,   they just want to play back , "N-a-n" blank space "S-m-i".

Can you advise me how can I make that happen?

Thank you so much for your help as always

Hi,

for instance, if the first name is stored in a variable named s, then

Play Prompt(S[s.substring(0,3)])
