Hi,
I am not sure what command you are referring to. To my understanding the command has been the same since 6.3 software atleast. I have no expirience of any older software though.
To monitor connections you can use several commands or variations of them
For a simple list of connections through the ASA
show conn
For a simple list of connections through and TO the ASA
show conn all
For more information about the connections use
show conn detail
show conn long
Then there is the command to view a single hosts connections
show local-host
show local-host detail
Hope these helps
