Motion events in ims.log, but not in event list

Hi.

Maybe somebody can give me a hint with an issue that I am unable to solve currently.

Camera (4300) generates motion events that are not listed in the event log. I can see the motion event start/stop in the ims.log, but it never shows up as a regular entry in the list.

This is only with one camera, the others are all working fine.

VSOM/Media SW: 6.2. Camera: CIVS-4300

Thanks for a hint.

Danny

Are the events actually configured to show up in the list?  On a lot of our motion based recording, we prefer to "squelch" the amount of event traffic actually going to the list as it doesn't actually get reviewed, and would only elevate the burden on the web services and VSOM DB.

However, if you want them in the event list, I believe the following has to be checked:

Hi Scott.

Thanks very much for this helpful advice.

You are right, there is this option. But I think it should be on by default when creating a new event.

Since I have deleted and recreated it, I assume it should be on. Let me checkt this and let ya know.

Danny

Scott.

Just checked, both are set.

That means the events stucks somewhere in between.
