Hi Folks,
Im currently configuring PRIME and have come across an issue:
To add devices to PRIME you need to configure:
Manage Credentials
Discover devices.
When i add a new profile to manage credentials Prime informs:
"This is a duplicate profile name. Please enter a different profile name" - this is not the case as Prime has only been built so there should be duplicate profiles.
Due to this error i have tried the option to mange VG using direct discovery by using IP but i get an error.
The firewalls rules are correct to the Prime server as i can run Getif and it obtains the snmp details.
Were do I view the logs to see what is failing the new profile add or direct discovery attempts.

Hi Darryl,
When the devices are failed to register, you can look into the logs and figure out why it is failing.
Logs can be found in $EMSAM_HOME/log/Inventory/AccesslevelDiscovery.log

hi Darryl,
Did you do any import of credentials via the script ?
If you have 0 profiles and still see the "Dulpciate Profile Name" message then it could be a defect. Please reach out to us if you are still facing the issue.
