NX5K pair VPC looks right but one NX5K management IP is not pingable

I have a pair of NX5K in vPC. I'm not using the management port for management access and peer keep-alive, instead I'm using a SVI between the NX5K pair for peer keep-alive and another SVI for in-band management access. The vPC looks fine, however one of the NX5K can't ping its default gateway and not pingable from other devices either. Here is the config and show outputs. I had the same config a while ago and everything was fine. So just wondering what could be wrong and if anyone has seen something similar.

NX5K-1# (the primary)

vpc domain 1

  role priority 90

  peer-keepalive destination 192.168.0.2 source 192.168.0.1 vrf peer-keepalive

  auto-recovery

  ip arp synchronize

ip route 0.0.0.0/0 10.26.96.129

NX5K-2# (the secondary)

vpc domain 1

  role priority 110

  peer-keepalive destination 192.168.0.1 source 192.168.0.2 vrf peer-keepalive

  auto-recovery

  ip arp synchronize

ip route 0.0.0.0/0 10.26.96.129

------------------------------

Here are the "show ip int brief vrf all" outputs on both devices. All other "show vpc", "show vpc peer-keepalive", "show int trunk", and "show port-channel summary" outputs are all correct. NX5K-2 can't ping its gateway IP 10.26.96.129 through in-band interface vlan 900. NX5K-1 can ping everything.

NX5K-1# sh ip int b vrf all
IP Interface Status for VRF "default"(1)
Interface            IP Address      Interface Status
Vlan900              10.26.96.143    protocol-up/link-up/admin-up

IP Interface Status for VRF "management"(2)
Interface            IP Address      Interface Status

IP Interface Status for VRF "peer-keepalive"(3)
Interface            IP Address      Interface Status
Vlan999              192.168.0.1     protocol-up/link-up/admin-up

NX5K-2# sh ip int b vrf all
IP Interface Status for VRF "default"(1)
Interface            IP Address      Interface Status
Vlan900              10.26.96.144    protocol-up/link-up/admin-up

IP Interface Status for VRF "management"(2)
Interface            IP Address      Interface Status

IP Interface Status for VRF "peer-keepalive"(3)
Interface            IP Address      Interface Status
Vlan999              192.168.0.2     protocol-up/link-up/admin-up
