Hi All,

Good Morning. We are facing a default router issue in the Cisco IP Phones in our new setup. We are not getting the default router when DHCP is enabled due to which phone is not getting registered in the call manager (Version 8.5.1 SU1). We have a separate DHCP server (Windows based). If we give manual Configuration in the phone, then it is getting registered. Kindly suggest.

Regards

Sankar.

Hi Sankar,

The problem which u are facing is that default router does not appear in IP phone and as a result, the phones are not getting IP address from DHCP server.please confirm.

What are the phone models u are using ?Is it windows 2003 or 2008 server for DHCP?

Is default gateway reahcable from Call Manager ? Any DNS being used .

Is this working setup or fresh installation?
