Type escape sequence to abort.

Tracing the route to 192.168.2.1

VRF info: (vrf in name/id, vrf out name/id)

  1 10.1.1.17 0 msec 0 msec 4 msec

  2 10.1.1.34 32 msec *  32 msec

Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 192.168.2.1, timeout is 2 seconds:

.....

Success rate is 0 percent (0/5)

Hi Amit,

Do 'debug IP icmp' on the source and destination router will help you find the problem.

Hi

Ping using Source Interface or use extended Ping

In addition to what others have stated, also make sure the 192.168.2.0/24 subnet has a route to get back here. Sourcing the ping from a subnet that the 192 subnet knows about could resolve the issue....

Hi Amit,
This is something I learned on a CCNP course recently, Traceroute actually uses UDP not ICMP on certain Unix like systems. Worth checking if you've got an access list preventing this.
Cheers
