Hi,
I noticed the fans on 6248 FIs are extremely loud. The GUI shows then rotating between 11k and 15k rpm.
Is this normal operation?
The FIs are really loud, even louder then a chassis full of blades.
This bothers some of my customers with smaller data enters.
Thanks.

Alex,
Please open a TAC case, we might need to take a look at nxos logs and others, it will be faster and easier for everybody.
The logs provided were helpful but did not show that much besides the fans in the FI at 15K RPMs. I checked quickly on a 61xx and the RPMs are around 3K less, but that does not mean much cause the models are different and we dont know if you and me, are running same firmare.

Did this get resolved?
We have the same problem. Fans are running at full speed the whole time and are insanely loud.
