I am using, locally, an X-Lite soft phone on a Mac and it works fine. I have a remote user from another office that wants one as well. Their phone registers fine. When calling my extension it rings until I pick up.
As soon as I pick up, he hears the reorder tri-tone twice and then the line hangs up.
The calling search space on the SIP phone config and the line config matches his remote hard phone's config so the calls should go through.
Dialing into his number from and external number is even odder. The number rings, hit answer and the phone continues to ring. Hit answer again and the call drops. There are no forwards on the line.
Really wish Cisco would release IP Communicator for a Mac. CUCM 8.6
