Hi Paolo, my problem is trying to assign a IP to the IPphone, if I try with a SW connected to a router and with wireshark in my Pc I dont see the DHCP offer , and the same problem if I put my Pc as a DHCP Server, but in this case I see the DHCP discover, Rcvd DHCP but after it the message " Supress pingable address" and go looking for in the scope and IP but no one run

Any idea what is happenning?

Something is set wrong in DHCP server, etc.

Are you running DHCP from the router or CUCM?

Can you post the configuration...

Can you check if another phone gets a dhcp address off the same port.

Hi, i tried to configure from a router and from my Pc, but both fails.

I tried with other ipphones and the same response.

Does anybody knows a software to make a bootp instead of. DHCP in a ipphone?

Regards!

Phones only use DHCP.

If you configure the server, or router, correctly it will work.

Hi Paolo again!

My DHCP is running finally properly, now my 7911 has a IP, now I am trying to transfer from my router with CME a firmware, but the phone is still in upgrading state.

I am trying to regiser the phone in the CME but does not run, neither with autoreg nor step by step ephone, ephone-dn and so on...

How can i transfer a firmware to the phone? with the router or with my Pc.

And if the the phone is still in that state, is possible to register in a CME?

thanks!!
