My current provider sends 10 digits and we are migrating to a new provider that will only send 7 digits. I want to do make the migration easier by adjusting the dial peer in the gateway so that it sends the same digits to the Call Manager that are currently being sent. How can I prepend our area code to the inbound digits?
dial-peer voice 2500 voip
description AT&T Test
preference 1
destination-pattern 994300[34]
session target ipv4:10.0.2.111
dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric h245-signal
codec g711ulaw
no vad
I have adjusted the destination-pattern to reflect the new 7 digits, but how can I add our area code before it is sent to Call Manager?

Hi Michael,
You will have to use a translation rules to prefix the area code on the voip dial-peers.
