10G link not coming up on WS6509-E switch

Hi,

We have WS6509-E switch with WS-X6708-10GE module. When we try to connect the interface from WS-X6708-10GE module to 10GBase-SR connector on WS-C4500X-32 10G, interface is not coming up. Can anyone suggest us if there is compatibility issue between these modules.

I dont see any problem with the modules or connectors as on the same WS-X6708-10GE module .interface is coming up when connected to

10GBase-SR/SW connector.

Hi,

6500 uses X2 module and 4500X uses SFP+. Can you try swapping the strands around on the 6500 side since that is SC type connector and test again?

Also, are you using the correct optics and fiber patch on both sides?
