From the NCS GUI goto Administration> Appliance

What do you see?

Also, how did you get to 500GB?  You would have had to add more space.... Hopefully you added an additional disk and didn't grow the size of the disk already installed.

With Prime Infrastructure, adding more space is as easy as bringing the application down w/ ncs stop, adding an additional virtual disk then bringing the applicaiton back online.

With NCS however, there's a disk grow script  TAC runs that ties the new virtual disk w/ the original virtual disk.

Hi Rob and Scott,

Thank you for your help.

We got to 500GB by when we installed the VM we gave it 500GB (when we provisioned the VM).

We don't have an alarm in the NCS for disk space.

Only in the ESXCI we have the alarm

It looks like a portion of the screen shot above is cropped off. That portion being the % used column....

Can you please reply back with a screen shot showing all 4 columns including

Disk Source, Available Space, Used Space, % Used?

  • Cisco Employee,

When you say you "We installed the system with more then recomended disk spack (500 GB HD)."

When the OVA gets installed, it will define what space is required depending on what size of OVA is chosen.

200GB, 300GB, 400GB or 1.2TB (small, medium, large and extra large respectively)

What size of OVA did you guys install from?

We installed the meduim size,

And as you can see we didn't pass the 50 precent.

There is no alarm inside the NCS only on the ESXCI

Also, do you have multiple VMs hanging off this ESX host or is NCS the only one?
