i have problem in Poe port i have Access point TP link tl-wa5110g High Power when i bluged in switch i can`t take power from switch


note Acess point support Poe in put power 12V 1 A

and with this device with packge Converter and i try to connect this device by converter work fine but when i put in my switch don`t work

Hi Kareem, the passive poe is not considered a standard under 802.3af since it does not have an active component. Passive POE tries to use unused wires for power.


I can only recommend you use some sort of injector to standardize your POE to be 802.3af compliant.

Hi Kareem any 802.3af injector should be compatible to the switch. I'd recommend to call the AP vendor and ask them what 802.3af injector is compatible to their product.
