There are some minor interoperability notes in the TC software (thats whats running on the C60) as well:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/telepresence/endpoint/software/tc6/release_notes/tc_software_release_notes_tc6.pdf

Besides that its always the best to test yourself. Especially as there are many software versions out

which might behave different and other factors (like audio/vidoe codec or other settings, used features (bfcp, ...), network (bandwidth, loss, jitter, firewalls) can cause issues and different experiance.

In general it should work as well to use either a stand alone C60 or one which is registered to some other

call control to establish calls.

Maybe its worth checking with the Polycom side what they say about it.
