Connecting a 2509 to the Internet

Hi Guys,

I am using a 2509 as my access server. It 2 Serials, aui, and a console port. I have 5 static IPs and i am trying to assign 1 to this router so I cann access this from outside my home.

But, my Comcast modem (Or my Linksys Router) has RJ-45 connector.

How do I connect this to the internet? Is there an adapter for the Serial (not the smart serials, see pic) to RJ-45?

Thanks in advance!

Robin

You could try something like this:

If I remember correctly, there's a converter module to allow the AUI to work with 10baseT (half duplex only).
