Apple Facetime & wireless

Customers cannot get Apple Facetime to connect over our wireless LANs - the connections all time out. These devices work ok otherwise. This happens even when two devices are on the same wireless LSN on the same SSID, hence ruling out any firewall issues. we use 1242AG LAPs and WiSM one controllers. Has anyone else had this experience or can anyone help to solve please??

First, you've posted this thread in "Other Collaboration, Voice, and Video Subjects" section.  Your facing issues with "wireless".  May I humbly request you move this thread to the appropriate location?  (Please do NOT open a seperate thread as it will confuse people when you have two threads of the same issue.)

If you look at the upper right-hand corner, under Action, you should find an option to move this thread.

Ensure you have multicasting enabled on the WLC. by default, a lot of Apple related stuff doesn't work due to their (IMHO horrible) use of multicast with the (equally horrible) Bonjour protocol. Apple TV is another example of an application that doesn't work without enabling multicast support on the controller.
