Hi,
Why we configured to parent policy and child policy while make to the QoS? If we used to normal methods qos then does it work?
What is the parent and child qos?

Nested policy-maps are typically utilized when you need to enforce shaping/policing limits to a sub-interface which cannot support this directly.
