He does need dial peers and to switch to h323, we do not support partial PRI with MGCP.

There is nothing to register with E1.
You can take "debug isdn q931" with "term mon".

Any updates ?
10-11-2013 01:14 AM
Hi kennedy,
Incase of outgoing call you are sending called number as blank. Please check your configuration.
Which protocol you are using? What is the call flow?
can you share network topology?
Also share your running config of your Voice gateway
Regards,
Nishant Savalia
10-11-2013 01:59 AM
Hi Nishant,
protocol is MGCP
running config is attached below but i didn't create any dial peer for e1 is it a must ? please help me coz i have no one beside me here
10-11-2013 01:12 AM
You have the wrong configuration in CUCN and /or router, that is the number translations are wrong.
Recommend you get a reputable consultant ot Certified Cisco partner for this, do not attempt to do yourself.
10-11-2013 01:16 AM
but idid not do translations and i don't have a consultant
10-11-2013 01:24 AM
You seem to be missing some/lot of configuration. You might have your e1 configured, but i dont think you have dial peers configured on the gateway for incoming calls and for outbound there is something else missing.
Can you post your router configuration. If something simple can be done, will try to help you, else, like Paolo mentioned, you need to hire someone to knows this well.

First of all, please remove the passwords from your configuration before you upload it to some forum. Would recommend editting your post and removing them.
Looking at your configuration, you are using MGCP and therefore there would be no digit manupulation being done on the Gateway. All digit manupulation would be done on CUCM.
What is route pattern that you have on CUCM and what is the discard digits configured to be on CUCM ?
10-11-2013 03:39 AM
Hi, thanks for your advise
My route pattern is 7.XXXXXXXXXX for national/local calls, anf discard predot
is it a must to configure dial peer for E1 on the gateway ?
10-11-2013 04:36 AM
any updates ?
10-11-2013 04:40 AM
You dont need a dial peer into the VG if is mgcp config
R you sure that you send the correct A number to the provider?
