How to configure vmware Direct Path in UCS C240 with VIC1225

Hi sir:


I have install ESXi 5.1 in UCS C240 with VIC 1225.


I have confured the ESXi5.1 with VM-FEX standard mode.


How can I change it to performance mode ?

Hi,




DirectPath I/O needs memory reservation to ensure that the VM's memory has not

been swapped out when the physical NIC tries to access the VM's memory. So, all

memory has to be reserved as it secures physical memory space for  a given VM.
