hi,
All router running default eigrp configuration, Router 3 has 2 successor to reach r2 loop (10.1.102.2),and it both FD is 2681856, how it got 2 successor becoz from router3 se 1/1 has two hop to reach r2 loop and from se 1/0 has only one hop. Your suggestion plz.
R3#sh ip eigrp topology 10.1.102.0/29
IP-EIGRP (AS 100): Topology entry for 10.1.102.0/29

R2 does not "own" the subnet. It is owned by both R1 and R2 so they both advertise it directly to R3.

The route you are looking at is the subnet connecting R1 and R2 (10.1.102.0/29). Both R1 and R2 are directly connected to this so R3 gets the same route from both of them with the same metric.

But Router 3 has directly connected to R2 (R2-->R2 20000+20000)so it should be a successor, how it select second successor by going from R3-->R1-->R2 (20000+20000+20000).
