Hi all,

I really need a suggestion regarding NOC monitoring.

Situation :

2 different customer connected to the same IPVPN split by VRF and BGP. The ISP provides a dynamic WAN/Dialer IP for both customers.

Since the WAN/Dialer IP is dynamic, the NOC could not monitor the WAN IP. So they have no choice but to monitor the LAN IP instead. NOC have no problem monitoring router that using static WAN IP.

The problem occur when this 2 customer uses same IP prefix eg : 192.168.0.x/24 (since we could not control the LAN assignment)

Is there any way that w e can monitor both network without conflicting each other?

Currently, what we are thinking is to configure a loopback interface in the router and assign an unique IP for each sites for us to monitor.

I would appreciate all the inputs and assistance

Thank you very much
