Hi Team

I have a firewall ASA 5505, with the version 8.2 and ADSM 6.4, i need configure range in network object, but only appears the IP address option and not more options. I send the print screen. I need update the version of ASA and ADSM?

Thank you.

Regards

Hi,

The configuration "object network " is only available from software level 8.3 (and newer)

The 8.2 and older softwares only have "object-group network "

The "object network " can contain "host" , "subnet" or "range"

The "object-group network " can contain "network-object host " or "network-object "

So to my understanding there is no real option to specify a range of IP addresses in your software.

Option would be use to use multiple IP addresses under the same "object-group" or configuration small subnets under the "object-group" that match the address range needed.
