WAP321 or Aironet 1142

Hello all,

At home (pretty big house) we now have 2x WAP321 access points installed which work perfectly, however from a friend I got 2x Aironet 1142 with dual band. In the past i had problems though with aironet not keeping the wifi connection in tact with our macbooks, do you all think right now it would be best to switch or stay on the WAP321? What's best?

I've never used 320 before but I've observed that the 320 had a very short shelf life.

1142 is pretty decent model of AP. Just make sure you DO NOT load autonomous IOS 15.X as it's really difficult to use (troubleshoot and still bug-ridden).

For iMAC, use either WPA or WPA2. Never attempt to enable both as it will confuse the iMACs.
