D9036 - Audio delay

Hello All,

We have noticed that audio is not in sync with the video for one of the encoded streams.

The basic configuration for this servie is set to passthrough and all the delay settings (relative delay and external delay) are set to 0.

of course, its very easy to "play" a bit with the values but before doing that, i just wanted to ask what a common/reasonable valye for delay would that be?

Can anyone share his experience here?

Thank you

When doing audio pass through the audio is being externally encoded. The external device is where the delay is being introduced. There is a field in the D9036 under the audio setting in the Basics tab. Go to the bottom of the page and you will see the External Delay. This is where you can increase or decrease the delay to compensate for the encoding. Your external audio encoder may give you what this delay value should be. Check with the audio encoder specs for this information.
