Anothe issue I found today, managed to reinstall the AP which crashed into the ap: prompt. However, when it boots up and joins the WLC, it tries to download the latest image from controller and stops midway. After that not able to access flash system any longer.

Is there a way to clear the corrupted blocks? fsck command keeps showing these blocks below as corrupted. Anyone knows?

Please help advice.

I would look at what's in the flash and delete any error files and images. I would upload a new rcv image using the archive download command.

Hi Scott,

Yes I have formatted the flash and made sure nothing inside. Then, installed the recovery image without any problems.

However the corrupted block info keeps coming up whenever rebooted.

Once it locks up the flash when the image download fails, I am not able to invoke any other commands.

The flash might be bad... Probably is. So if you have a support contract, you can possible RMA that AP. There is no way to fix it if it's a hardware issue.
