WAAS is showing offline in CENTRAL MANAGER

Hi Team,

 

We are facing issue with WAAS device " WAAS is showing offline in CENTRAL MANAGER ".

 

Troubleshooting Done:

1) Login into the WAAS appliance (10.2.58.55) => Able to telnet

 

2) Check the WAAS can ping the Central Manager IP address (10.240.15.50) => Central manager is pinging

 

3) run "cms deregister force" => Giving error for this command. Device deleted from CM GUI before this command.

 

**Note**: This will shutdown cms and force a deregistration to be send to the Central Manager

 

3) run "cms enable" wait for the registration to complete. => Giving error for this command

 

4) check cms "show cms info", see if has registered now with online instead of Offline. => Giving Error as “No such file or directory”

 

Also attaching here show tech for this WAAS device and suggest us the next step to do here or the issue if understand here.

Hi Ashutosh,

You have a bad disk according to the alarms and no smart-info for disk showing as it is not recongnizing it, no mounted file systems. You should get the disk replaced and install the software using recovery CD and that should fix the issue.

What do you get when you do "show flash"?
