AP801AGN radios reset when both enabled

I have an AP801AGN set to unified mode.  I have it connected to a 5508 running IOS 7.4.103.7.  When I have both radios enabled, I get this:

*Dec 27 15:29:41.051: %LINK-5-CHANGED: Interface Dot11Radio1, changed state to reset

*Dec 27 15:29:42.019: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Dot11Radio0, changed state to up

*Dec 27 15:29:42.231: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Dot11Radio1, changed state to down

*Dec 27 15:29:42.835: %LINK-6-UPDOWN: Interface Dot11Radio1, changed state to up

*Dec 27 15:29:43.835: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Dot11Radio1, changed state to up

*Dec 27 15:30:00.267: %LINK-5-CHANGED: Interface Dot11Radio0, changed state to reset

*Dec 27 15:30:01.447: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Dot11Radio0, changed state to down

*Dec 27 15:30:02.043: %LINK-6-UPDOWN: Interface Dot11Radio0, changed state to up

*Dec 27 15:30:02.075: %LINK-5-CHANGED: Interface Dot11Radio1, changed state to reset

*Dec 27 15:30:03.043: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Dot11Radio0, changed state to up

*Dec 27 15:30:03.255: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Dot11Radio1, changed state to down

*Dec 27 15:30:03.859: %LINK-6-UPDOWN: Interface Dot11Radio1, changed state to up

And it just keeps going like that.

When I disable one radio, it does not matter which one, the other one comes up, and stays up.

Please let me know what needs to be done to have both radios up at the same time.

What I would do and I have had issues with my 1941w when upgrading. I would delete the image from flash and install the rcv image and have the AP801 join and download the new firmware. That code you are running is a TAC release and maybe the image is corrupt for the AP801. You will have to test that by deleting the image and having the AP download the code again.

This is how I fixed my issues which you are having. Some beta codes I have used never worked because of the AP801 image being corrupt. The v7.4 both versions, v7.5.102.0 and v7.6.100.0 all work fine with my AP801.

Thanks Scott,

I will try upgrading the WLC IOS, and let you know what happens.

If your going to upgrade, then I would suggest using v7.4.121.0 which is MR2.

Thanks,

Scott
