Cisco 2811 - SIP internal server error 500 on outgoing calls (Solved)

Hi list,

I migrate a cisco 2811 with E1 card from ccm to SIP/Elastix. The problem I face is that from time to time, I receive the subject error (around 10% of outgoing calls). Call is going through on next attempt (can be one to 3) or by waiting few seconds before redialing.

The problem happends even when no calls are engaged, incoming or outgoing. On incoming calls, everything is OK.

The ios is C2800NM-SPSERVICESK9-M.

Any hint would be much appreciate.

Merry christmas

Daniel

Hi Manish,

sorry for the delay, christmas was here ;-)

I think I found the problem. I had this configuration in dial-peer:

dial-peer voice 1000 voip

numbering-type unknown

destination-pattern .T

session protocol sipv2

session target sip-server

session transport udp

incoming called-number .

dtmf-relay rtp-nte

codec g711ulaw

no vad

!

dial-peer voice 100 pots

numbering-type unknown

destination-pattern .T

incoming called-number .

direct-inward-dial

port 0/0/0:15

I removed in the voip part the "incoming called-number ." and modify the destination pattern in pots into "destination-pattern 9T" (Elastix was adapted), problem doesn't arise anymore since then, knowing that only few calls where made.

Will wait few days more when call activity will start again, to see if I'm right.

Thanks for your support

Daniel

Hi Manish,

I confirm: problem is solved, never had any other error since above modification.

Many thanks for your help and support.

Daniel
