Manager-Assistant setup visual/audio alert turn on/off for manager

Hi Expert,


I would need some help if any of you has bumped into this before or has any idea:


I have a Manager-Assistant setup (CUCM 8.6):

- shared line solution

- 2 managers with 1 assistant


Call comes in to manager main number: it rings on assistant phone and have visual info on manager phone.


In case assistant is away from the desk, so can not take calls

Is it possible to turn audio alerting also on for the manager phone (by assistant)?

and when assistant is back turn this off again, so only visual info will be seen on manager phone.

Hi,


Have you tried making your assistant go offline first on the assistant application and see if the call rings thru to the manager then?


Also on the managers application you can set an Audio Alert on or of in Proxy-Line mode.
