1)If already PRI is terminated on MD110 how will it come on my E1/T1 card ? or do i need 1 more PRI(as my vendor says) so bit confused

Hi Yogesh,

a. u need to conenct back to back your E1 link from Ericssion to E1 card on router.

b. for Eriscsson only that vendor can help you. For Cisco router, you need to have VWIC cards with E1 interface.

c. On VWIC card, there is a RJ-45 jack available on which 1,2 and 4,5 are the pairs.

If u are using ISR G2[ 29xx, 39xx ] series router, u need to have Unified Communications license.

Hi Yogesh,

You E1 card on EPABX would be having two ports. One port would speak to Service Provider while second port on Ericsson  would connect to E1 port on the cisco router.

Hi Yogesh,

Simply connect a straigth ethernet cable between Router E1 port and Ericsson.If it works , great else cut the cable and swap 1,2 and 4,5 .

Hi,

   No E1 does not connect to ISP, simple PRI terminated in EPABX and cable from EPABX there comes  cable which goes in E1/T1 Card.

OK so you have

[EPAB] ----E1 PRI---[VGW]--PRI to ISP --->>>>>>

                                   |

                              [CUCM]

So the Cisco VGW has 2 x E1 PRI ports.

The EPABX has 1 x E1 PRI port

EPABX has BTU D Card on which PRI terminated and that cable comes in E1-T1 on Router
