897VAW NPE to Encryption

Hi there,

If a 897VAW router has NPE IOS and AIS License how can I change this to Encryption?

Does it require downloading an IOS with encryption only?

Hello, Amar.

To do encryption you need to have IOS that is capable of this, so NPE doesn't suit you and you need to download a new one.

Please be aware that using IOS that supports encryption could be prosecuted in your country!
