BE6K UCCx 100+ Agents

I am trying to solve a problem at a client site.  They recently deployed BE6K with HA, including a la carte UCCx PRE (with HA) on the BE6K UCS servers.  This limits them to 100 agents.  Is it possible to move BE6K to the full UCUCS-C220M3 server to allow for more than 100 agents, or does this require them to upgrade to Enterprise UWL (would the same OVA templates work)?

Is another option to just move the UCCx to a UCUCS-C220M3 server to allow for more than 100 agents?

The client is <500 phones, but the contact center is growing substantially.  Trying to allow for them to solve the contact center issue without needing to upgrade to full CUWL.

Regards,

Ben Cook

You will want to confirm this with PDI or TAC. While I would argue the server can easily do it, the limitation is with the CTI Service on the CUCM, which is being limited.

Hi Ben,

It's not so much about the BE6000 versus UCS server, but the specification of the CPUs.  If you take a look at the docwiki for server requirements for larger CCX deployments, you will see that they require Full UC performance CPUs, which the BE6000 servers do not have.  (BE6000 MD server == UCS C220 TRC2 [S] and BE6000 HD server == UCS C220 TRC3 [S+] ).

So short answer is that the BE6000 only supports 100 agents because that's the most that is supported with the included CPUs.

Andy
