I recently saw this on my WLC logs and not sure it's meaning entirely and if I should be doing something about it.

Radar signals have been detected on channel 52 by 802.11a radio with MAC.....

30 minutes later, I received the clearing message:

Radar signals have been cleared on channel 52 by 802.11a radio with MAC......

Any info as to if I need to do anything and if so, what to do.

it's the first I've seen the message and haven't seen it since.

WLC 5508 running software version 7.6.100.0 (which has only been on the device for 3 weeks)

thanks for any help you can offer

On the 5ghz you are restricted with channels that cli exist with radar. This can't be changed since the FCC for example regulates this. You can disable the DFS channels so that AP's don't use these channels.

No problem... Now most if these radars are because of weather stations and not too much from airport radar.
