Route Summarization excluding an IP

Hi,

I am trying to exclude one specefic IP while doing route summarization for a /16 block. One way I know is to exclude a smaller subnet containing that specefic IP from the summarization but would like to know if there's any other way to attain this ?

Any help/ideas much appreciated.

The only way i can think to do this is to advertise both the summary (including the specific IP) and then advertise the specific IP as well.

The longest match is always matched for routing so the specific IP would be preferred over the summary on any other L3 devices receiving those routes.
