Any other suggestions apart from updating ?

I think this is the same server , LMS 3.1 ?

Try deleting and re-adding the device ,if that did not help . you have to update the RME device pacakges  or as I suggested in a previous post upgarde the LMS to atleast 3.2.1  ,if it is the same server.

Afroz

yes it is the same 3.1

Can you please provide the download link to LMS 3.21 , i can only find the link to evaluation version.

Will license file for 3.1 work on 3.2.1 ?

Can i Migrate the dabase of 3.1 to 3.2.1 (any link will be highly helpful)

Also which OS is required for 3.2.1 ? i remember tht 3.1 wasnt working on Windows 2008 R2 so have to install it on 2003 R2

Hi ,

You need to go on 3.2 fisrt. I did not find 3.2.1 on the cisco.com .

Installed 3.2 first and hope this will resolve many of the  issues you are facing:

here is the download link for 3.2 :

http://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=282635181&flowid=16561&softwareid=280775102&os=Windows&release=3.2.0&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=&reltype=latest

yes the license for LMS 3.1 will work perfectly on LMS 3.2

Hardware should not be a problem:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/net_mgmt/ciscoworks_lan_management_solution/3-2/install/guide1/lmsigsg/prereq.html#wp1101012

NOTE: before you actually planned to upgarde , take the backup of LMS 3.1 and then start the upgarde.

For data migration , check the below link:

Hi ,

ERROR: Certificate Date Invalid
java.security.cert.CertificateNotYetValidException: NotBefore: Thu Apr 10 12:05:14 PDT 2014

certificate seems to be invalid ..

Regenerate the SSL certificate as below ::

To generate a new certificate in LMS

1. Stop the daemon Manager

net stop crmdmgtd

1. Remove the following certificate files from (NMSROOT/MDC/Apache/conf/ssl)

a. server.crt

b. server.key

c. server.pk8

d. server.csr

2. Disable SSL:

NMSROOT\CSCOpx\bin>perl "NMSROOT\CSCOpx\MDC\Apache\ConfigSSL.pl" -disable

3. Enable SSL to generate certificate:

NMSROOT\CSCOpx\bin>perl "NMSROOT\CSCOpx\MDC\Apache\ConfigSSL.pl" -enable

4. Start Daemon Manager

net start crmdmgtd

Also change the last line in the ctm_config.txt file , it should have 2 back slash:

REGISTRY_LOCATION=C:/PROGRA~2/CSCOpx//MDC/tomcat/webapps/triveni/WEB-INF/lib

it should be

REGISTRY_LOCATION=C://PROGRA~2//CSCOpx//MDC//tomcat//webapps//triveni//WEB-INF//lib//

Thanks AFroz,

i did all the steps , started the daemon , restarted the server as well as i am getting the following error

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /cwhp/LiaisonServlet on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

You are using 443 or 1741  ?

as ssl is enable , use the port no . 443

if above is not working . Just disable the SSL once and then try login with 1741

steps:

1. Stop the daemon Manager

net stop crmdmgtd

2. Disable SSL:

NMSROOT\CSCOpx\bin>perl "NMSROOT\CSCOpx\MDC\Apache\ConfigSSL.pl" -disable

4. Start Daemon Manager

net start crmdmgtd

Thanks-
