Adding Redundant 5548UP

In current production environment there is a 5548UP connected to a HP blade chasis via B22HP fabric extenders and 10GB copper and directly connected to a SAN via 10GB copper as well.  The 5548 is uplinked to a core switch(3750X).  Would like to add redundancy and add a 2nd 5548 in case of any issues with the first.  Trying to see what else would be needed in terms of setting this up correctly so that the servers have multiple paths to the storage and also to the core switching.  From what I understand I'd be creating a vpc from the first 5548 to the second, then connect the blade chassis to the 2nd 5548 via additional B22HPs.  Is that correct?
