Limit IM internally

Unanswered Question

We use Webex connect in our organization and like most of the features except instant messaging.  We've found many users abuse it and are using it for non-business related activity.   Per support, we've found we cannot turn this off as it is integral to the application.  We have disabled external IM.  Are there any options to limit instant messaging within the organization?  Perhaps turn off user to user IM and only provide chat rooms?  How do other companies handle this situation?
