802.1x Configuration

Folks, greetings

We are having a hard time to get 802.1x working in the following scenario:

- Windows 7
- Cisco 2960
- ACS 5.3 patch 9
- LDAP 2.4.23-32
- Samba 3.6.9-151

Apparently, everything works as expected except that when there is no user profile created on the client, the authentication fails with a message "There are currently no logon servers to service the logon request"

Anyone with experience in such an environment, that could share his findings?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Alvaro

Hi Alvaro,

I don't think this is a network problem as such, but have a look at this microsoft article here, it looks like you may have this issue:

Very best wishes

Hi,

It seems windows is unable to find the AD Domain controller to log on. Please make sure the DNS is configured properly on the PC.
