cisco ntp query

Hi..

I am running ntp on cisco switch and its showing correct time in show clock but when i check reference time in show ntp status its different that what i see in show clock. Can you pls describe on this why there is difference

Hi,

Enter a show calendar on your machine and see if that displays a time in agreement with the ntp time.

Hi Mike.

Show calender shows exact time what i see in show clock, my concern is about reference time which shows in show ntp status. why it is different than show clock time.

That could be the last time it did a sync with the stratum 1 device.
