Hi everyone

Recently, SX20 has interoperated  with 3rd SIP server & MCU

register & Connection was done , But it has a problem about video quality

The symptom is that Video packet loss has continued generated from MCU to SX20 (Network status is fine , Several times check )

At that time SX20 generated log messages as below:

Jan  1 11:06:19 a8 vcodec: GDR_handleDecoderResult: GDR received
Jan  1 11:06:21 a8 vcodec: GDR_handleDecoderResult: GDR received
Jan  1 11:06:23 a8 vcodec: 626.09 DEC_FSM-0 I: intra request
Jan  1 11:06:23 a8 vcodec: GDR_handleDecoderResult: GDR failed, frame status = 2000200
Jan  1 11:06:23 a8 vcodec: 626.10 DEC_FSM-0 I: Decode Err: 0x02000a00|Concealment Applied|Missing slice|
Jan  1 11:06:23 a8 vcodec: 626.20 DEC_FSM-0 I: Decode Err: 0x02000a00|Concealment Applied|Missing slice|
Jan  1 11:06:23 a8 vcodec: 626.62 DEC_FSM-0 I: intra request
Jan  1 11:06:23 a8 vcodec: 626.72 DEC_FSM-0 I: Decode Err: 0x02000a00|Concealment Applied|Missing slice|
Jan  1 11:06:24 a8 vcodec: 627.14 DEC_FSM-0 I: intra request
Jan  1 11:06:24 a8 vcodec: 627.74 DEC_FSM-0 I: intra request
Jan  1 11:06:24 a8 vcodec: 627.75 DEC_FSM-0 I: Decode Err: 0x02000a00|Concealment Applied|Missing slice|
Jan  1 11:06:28 a8 vcodec: GDR_handleDecoderResult: GDR received
Jan  1 11:06:30 a8 vcodec: GDR_handleDecoderResult: GDR received

Does anyone explain to me log messages mean. ?

Firstly, I'd recommend that you upgrade the software version on your SX20 as TC6.1.1 is vulnerable to the Heartbleed OpenSSL Security Vulnerability (you need TC6.3.1 or TC7.1.1 to be safe).

With regard to your error - what bandwidth are you making the call at?  Does the video quality improve (and get less errors) if you lower the bandwidth?

Thanks Wayne for response

we got a test as follow conditions

The call rate is over 1Mbps.

Resolution is HD(720p)

Try at a lower call rate and see if you still experience issues (eg 512k). It could be that your network link isn't quite up to scratch to take a full rate call. But confirming that a lower speed call will work will help narrow down where the problem is (endpoints or network).
