Customer would like to receive extra information (and step-by-step) regarding calculations of Optical Power for TX / RX according the information delivered at the beginning:

- SFP model: GLC-SX-MM

- Fiber: 62.5 micron OM1

- Aprox. 500ft distance

- 6 connections / 3 patchpannel with loss insertion of 0.75 dB each

- 3750 Switch to a 2960S Switch

I've already check the datasheet for the fiber:

http://www.signamax.com/download/pdfs/datasheets/premise/SPCS%20-%20PSS%20OM1-OFPC%20-%20A-SEP-09%20...

and for the SFP:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/interfaces-modules/gigabit-ethernet-gbic-sfp-module...

Thanks
